14 More Name Tags

Newest Name Tags

My name tags are starting to become popular.  This is exactly what I wanted to happen.  Because I got a few books of sample fabrics, no two will be exactly the same color.  Also, they may be personalized with pins.  The inside is a thick iron on fabric stabilizer.  The back is primed canvas. This doesn't ravel easily.  It also makes a nice finish.

I am learning how to sew the edges + + + make free hand button holes for the holders.  There was a gadget that came with my machine for making button holes.  However, it was big and 'I was never going to make button holes', so I put it some place for safe keeping.  It is so safe, I can not remember where it is.

My studio is almost done.  Hopefully, I will find it during the move.  At the moment, I have bits and pieces of things all over the house.

Chemo Quilts = 2 more

Chemo Quilt #3

Chemo Quilt #4

These quilts have a few wrinkles because they were in a pile to be delivered.  I realized when I saw them, that I had not posted either one.

Both have a musical theme.  My problem was that my musical fabric was dark.  Therefore I added some bright colors to liven it up.  Of course I also added a few corduroy squares.

I really like this pattern for these theme quilts because it lets me use what ever size fabric I have collected.  It doesn't matter if they are all the same pattern because they will go to different children.

I also used colorful backing flannel.  I have NO clue about what teens like, so I hope someone will pick these quilts.  There were created with LOVE and given with JOY.

This is seventy numbers 47 and 48.

Selvage Purse

Selvage Purse

I have been wanting to create this for some time.  Because I have re-injured my right hand, I can do no hand work.  Therefore, I'm trying to find things I can make without any hand work.

This matches my cape.

I also plan to add a strap between the two handles so that I may have the option of a shoulder strap.  The pocket is for sunglasses.  I broke one pair when kept inside another purse.

This is seventy number 46.
