Selvage Sun Cape

Not much to say about this creation.  I had planned it in May, gathered my guilds offerings in June, finally finished it in July-August.  I was going to post the pattern I made and how I laid it out.  Unfortunately, I seem to have exceeded my blogspot space limit.

Very cool, Ann. I 've seen quilts and bags made from salvages, but never a garment. Have you been saving them for years?

What do you mean that you've exceeded your blogspot space limit? I've just switched over to a web/blog on Blogger. I didn't know we had a limit.

What a great project with mindless sewing. It's adorable. I want to let you know that my Mom died 18 years ago. Although the pain has certainly diminished, not a day goes by that I don't think of her.

Hi Norma,
Yes there is a limit on photos for each post. This is something new. In previous years I have posted 'a year in review' with just photos of work for that year. Doesn't look like the new blogger will let that happen unless I buy more space.

Thank you for visiting my blog, Ann. I should have put this info on the post. Here it is. It is a pattern from Rosemary Eichorn. You will need her book, The Art of Fabric Collage for the process and you can order her pattern online at www.sewjourn.com Vest pattern #6
