It has taken me a LONG time to find all of the entries in this category. The winners are all posted on IQA. My photos are not nearly as good. However, I have ALL of the entries in this category so that you can become part of the judging process. LOTS of GREAT entries. Formerly this category was divided into 'Art Quilts Painted large' + 'Art Quilts Painted small'. In 2011 I had an entry in the small category. Back then only one entry per person was allowed in any category. I think that was a really GOOD rule. Because of the many entries, I do hope this category gets back to being divided into 'large' and 'small' once more. The order of the photos is from my photograph order as I viewed the exhibit. Please ENJOY!

Thank YOU Ann for posting all the Houston photos here. i have never been to that quilt show but with your help i can drink in the goodness. i am painter of cloth forever and truly enjoyed this post and the makers names. now i will go back a savor my favorites!
